This ZF steering box for the BMW E10 series is a professionally reconditioned unit for classic BMW 02-series vehicles. It is ideal for authentic restorations as well as for vehicles where a precise, direct, and play-free steering feel is paramount.
The complete overhaul significantly reduces age-related steering play. The goal is smooth operation, clean feedback, and driving behavior that matches the original character of the BMW E10 models.

Design & Quality
The ZF steering box is completely disassembled, cleaned, and technically reconditioned. Wear parts are replaced, relevant components are checked, and the function is finally inspected.
Each unit is supplied ready for installation.
Scope of Delivery & Illustration Note
The scope of delivery includes only the reconditioned ZF steering box.
Not included are, among other things:
- Idler arms
- Hardy discs
- Tie rods
- Mounting material
- other attachments or periphery

Installation Note
Installation should be carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. Professional adjustment of the steering is a prerequisite for safe driving behavior, correct straight-ahead driving, and a long service life of the steering box.
