Right of Withdrawal – VW Type-1 Engine

No right of withdrawal for custom-made products

The offered VW Type-1 engine is exclusively manufactured individually after order.
According to § 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB, there is no right of withdrawal.

A withdrawal is excluded as soon as:
• required components have been ordered
• technical processing has begun
• the old part has been checked or measured
• project planning has started

Right of withdrawal for standard articles
For non-configured products, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies

Return Conditions – VW Type-1 Engine

1. Return

The customer bears all return costs, transport risk, and responsibility for
secure packaging for transport.

2. Collection by Strive For Car

Optional freight forwarding collection:
• Germany: 89–169 €
• Austria: 139–219 €
• EU: 169–299 €
• Non-EU: individual costs + customs

3. Inspection Costs (binding)

For every technical inspection of a returned engine, a binding fee of 120 € applies –
regardless of whether a defect is present.

4. Restocking Costs (one-time)

If an engine is returned and the inspection shows that no technical defect is present, a one-time restocking fee of 50 € will be charged.

5. Damages to the returned engine

If damages caused by the customer are found during inspection,
the repair or restoration costs will be fully invoiced.

The customer is particularly liable for damages due to:
• improper packaging
• incorrect assembly
• improper handling
• overheating / oil shortage
• manipulations or interventions
